Epilepsy Team Implants Neurostimulator System in Patient at White Plains Hospital
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (January 8, 2016) – Neurosurgeon Dr. Robert Goodman and the White Plains Hospital epilepsy team recently implanted the first NeuroPace-RNS® (responsive neurostimulator) system at White Plains Hospital in a patient with epilepsy. White Plains Hospital is currently the only healthcare provider in Westchester approved for performing this innovative procedure, which was FDA-approved in 2013 to treat adults with partial onset seizures that are not controlled by medications.

Armonk, NY (November 17, 2015) – White Plains Hospital expanded its reach with the opening today of an urgent care center, comprehensive imaging center, and medical offices at White Plains Hospital Medical and Wellness in Armonk. This marks the first time a hospital has opened an urgent care center in Westchester. The 24,000-square-foot facility, located at 99 Business Park Drive, is easily accessible from routes 684 and 22 to residents of communities from Pleasantville to Bedford to Rye Brook and Greenwich, Connecticut.
