Tejas Patel, MD Joins White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, Nephrology and Hypertension Specialist to See Patients in Armonk and Harrison

White Plains, N.Y. – (December 1, 2017) – White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Tejas Patel to its Physician Associates Division. Dr. Patel is a board certified Nephrologist. He earned his medical degree at the M. S. University of Baroda, India. Dr. Patel was a resident at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has fellowships in Hypertension and Medicine from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. He also earned his Master of Public Health degree from Ohio State University School of Public Health and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

White Plains Hospital to Unveil New 20,300 Sq. Ft Central Clinical Services Addition

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (November 20, 2017)—White Plains Hospital will unveil its new facility, 20,300 square feet of space at the center of the Hospital, from floors 3 to 6, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to be held on November 20th on the Hospital’s third floor. This new space was designed by Perkins Eastman Architects and complements the Hospital’s ongoing campus modernization and renovation, including the newly expanded Center for Cancer Care, completed in 2016, and the Hospital’s new lobby, completed in 2015. Approximately 200,000 square feet have been renovated or added to the Hospital since 2015.

Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon Dr. Sasan Roayaie Joins White Plains Hospital

White Plains, N.Y. (August 1, 2017) – White Plains Hospital welcomes Sasan Roayaie, MD, to its Physician Associates Division. Dr. Roayaie brings unique surgical skills to provide individualized care for patients needing complex liver, bile duct and pancreas resections. He has extensive experience in transplant surgery and with the treatment of primary liver cancers such as hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma, benign tumors such as adenoma, focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH), and hemangiomas as well as liver metastases from colorectal, neuroendocrine and other cancers. Dr. Roayaie’s expertise also extends to the treatment of bile duct and pancreatic cancers. He has been a leader in the development of minimally invasive hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. Dr. Roayaie not only performs any needed operations, but also works together with a multidisciplinary team including interventional radiology, radiation oncology, gastroenterology and oncology to devise an entire treatment program for patients who are not eligible for surgery.
