WPHPA Welcomes Cardiologist Dr. Aushim Kokroo

White Plains, N.Y. (August 25, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has announced that fellowship-trained cardiologist Dr. Aushim Kokroo has joined White Plains Hospital Physician Associates. He will practice at WPHPA Cardiac Electrophysiology in White Plains and at the Hospital’s newest multispecialty center, WPHPA of Scarsdale.

Board-certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine, Dr. Kokroo earned his medical degree from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital & Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and pursued a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he also served as a hospitalist.

His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm, Scientific Reports, and Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science.

Dr. Kokroo provides patient-centered cardiac care tailored to each individual’s needs, with the goal of supporting heart health and promoting overall well-being.
