White Plains, N.Y. (September 9, 2024) – White Plains Hospital has announced that urologist Dr. Timothy Baloda has joined the Hospital’s Center for Advanced Medicine and Surgery in White Plains.
Dr. Baloda received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, after which he completed his residency in urologic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. There he received numerous accolades, including the William Hollis Cooner Resident Award for patient care excellence consecutively in 2023 and 2024.
Though Dr. Baloda sees patients with a broad range of urologic concerns, he has a special interest in complex kidney stone disease and benign prostate disease. In residency, he devoted substantial time to the implementation of new technologies and techniques to treat kidney stones and prostatic enlargement.
Dr. Baloda has undertaken copious amounts of research during his time at Massachusetts General Hospital, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Emory University School of Medicine. This has generated numerous presentations at national conferences and being published in such peer-reviewed outlets as The Journal of Urology and Urology.
In addition to English, Dr. Baloda speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Swedish, and intermediate Spanish.
