White Plains Hospital Welcomes Pulmonologist and Critical Care Physician Dr. Lawrence Huang

White Plains, N.Y. (September 15, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has announced that board-certified physician Dr. Lawrence Huang has joined the Scarsdale Medical Group practice in Harrison. Board-certified in pulmonology disease and internal medicine, Dr. Huang received his medical degree from the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine (and was named chief resident) and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care, all at Westchester Medical Center.

Dr. Huang has served as an instructor and lecturer at numerous area institutions, most recently at New York Medical College and at the CUNY School of Medicine. His work has been published in such peer-reviewed outlets as Genetics, The Archives of Medical Science – Aging, and Respiratory Medicine Case Reports.

In addition to English, Dr. Huang is adept in conversational Mandarin Chinese.
