White Plains Hospital Welcomes Neurosurgeon Dr. Jared Cooper

White Plains, N.Y. (July 22, 2024) – White Plains Hospital has announced that neurosurgeon Dr. Jared Cooper, whose specialties include neurosurgery and neuro-endovascular surgery, has joined its staff and will practice at the Hospital’s Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery in White Plains.

Dr. Cooper’s primary areas of expertise include surgical and endovascular treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, moyamoya disease, ischemic stroke, and carotid stenosis or dissection. He also provides general neurosurgical treatment for conditions of the brain and spine including benign and malignant neoplasms, hydrocephalus, disc herniation and spinal stenosis.

After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, Dr. Cooper completed his neurosurgical residency and neuro-endovascular surgery fellowship at Westchester Medical Center.

Dr. Cooper’s research interests include acute stroke management and the treatment of cerebral aneurysms using emerging technologies. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, numerous textbook chapters, and has presented his work at national meetings.
