White Plains, N.Y. (November 1, 2024) – White Plains Hospital announced today that hematologist/oncologist Dr. Rachel Levy has joined its staff and will practice at the Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care in White Plains. Dr. Levy specializes in treating patients with blood disorders, hematologic malignancies, and solid tumors.
Dr. Levy earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where she also received a master’s degree in public health. She then completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Montefiore Medical Center’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her excellence in clinical care, compassion, and dedication to humanism in service.
Dr. Levy’s clinical interests include colorectal, hepatobiliary, and breast cancers. She has extensive research experience and her work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications such as Clinical Colorectal Cancer, the American Journal of Industrial Medicine, The American Journal of Surgery, and Cureus: Journal of Medical Science.
