White Plains Hospital announced today that six practitioners from Hudson Valley Bone & Joint Surgeons have joined White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, further expanding access to exceptional orthopedic care for residents across Westchester County.
Joining the WPHPA family are four orthopedic surgeons – Drs. Corey Burak, Gregg Cavaliere, Anthony Maddalo, and George Pianka. These surgeons specialize in hand, knee, hip, and shoulder surgery and several of them have worked with members of such professional sports teams as the New York Jets, New York Rangers and New York Knicks. Additionally, Dr. Nicole Solomos joins as a specialist in non-operative sports medicine and orthopedic injuries, and Physician Assistant Danielle Forbear will continue to see patients as part of WPHPA as well.

The new additions further strengthen White Plains Hospital’s Center for Orthopedic & Spine Surgery, which has grown to become one of the largest providers of comprehensive orthopedic services in Westchester County. The program collaborates with an entire team of skilled healthcare professionals, including physicians, neurosurgeons, pain specialists, physical and occupational therapists, rehabilitation experts and care managers – all of whom work with patients to identify a personalized treatment plan best suited to each individual’s needs.
