White Plains Hospital Welcomes Cardiologist Dr. Yesha Rana

White Plains, N.Y. (August 12, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has announced that board-certified cardiologist Dr. Yesha Rana has joined its Scarsdale Medical Group office in Harrison, N.Y. and, on Sept. 29, will also practice at the Hospital's newest multispecialty center, WPHPA of Scarsdale.

Board-certified in internal medicine, adult echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Rana earned her medical degree magna cum laude from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai – Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside, West, and Beth Israel, where she served as chief fellow.

Dr. Rana is dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care to both patients with established heart disease and individuals seeking preventive strategies. She integrates multimodality diagnostic testing to identify patients at highest risk and emphasizes early intervention through lifestyle modification, dietary counseling, and pharmacologic therapy when appropriate. She has a particular interest in women’s heart health, focusing on the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease in women across all stages of life.

Over the years, Dr. Rana has published numerous articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and has presented abstracts and posters at major national academic conferences.

She is fluent in English and Gujarati.
