White Plains Hospital Partners With Greenburgh Hebrew Center for Annual Blood Drive

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (January 5, 2014)— The Greenburgh Hebrew Center (GHC) of Dobbs Ferry is hosting its annual community Blood Drive on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 9 am – 1 pm. GHC proudly continues its partnership with White Plains Hospital, a leader in exceptional medical care.

All eligible donors, 16 years old and over are welcome to participate. Donors under the age of 18 must have parental consent. Consent forms may be downloaded by clicking here. Potential donors are encouraged to make an appointment by emailing blooddrive@g-h-c.org. Walk-ins are welcome too. Please remember to bring identification.

Refreshments will be offered for all eligible donors once they have completed their donation.

The White Plains Hospital Blood Bank is coordinating this blood drive and is available at 914-681-1056 to answer any questions regarding eligibility. “Giving blood is a great way for your organization, business, or House of Worship to make a positive contribution to the community. Our team of professionals are always happy to come out to your location and help you organize and perform an on-site blood drive such as this one,” said Jodi Creed, BS, BB (ASCP), Blood Donor Recruitment Coordinator at White Plains Hospital.
