White Plains Hospital Named to Fortune’s “Best Workplaces in Health Care” List for 3rd Time

September 17, 2025

Hospital Is One of Just Two Hospitals in New York State to Make the National List

White Plains, N.Y. (September 17, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has been recognized as one of Fortune’s “Best Workplaces in Health Care” for the third time – the only hospital in Westchester County, and one of just two large hospitals (1,000+ employees) headquartered in New York State, to be recognized.

In June, the Hospital was named to Fortune's 2025 list of Best Workplaces in New York™ for the third consecutive year as well. White Plains Hospital was the only hospital in New York and one of just 35 large companies to be included on that list.

To produce the “Best Workplaces in Health Care” list, Fortune partnered with the people analytics firm Great Place To Work®. Great Place To Work analyzed 1.3 million survey responses over the past year to predict retention, agility, and overall business success. Of those, nearly 228,000 responses were received from employees at companies who were eligible for the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care list. This year, 89% of White Plains Hospital employees reported it as a great place to work – the same percentage as last year.

“We are extremely proud of the exceptional commitment our employees bring with them to work every day,” said Diane Woolley, Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at White Plains Hospital. “Our staff is passionate about the culture we have created and maintained – not only for our colleagues but, even more importantly, for our patients who are always our top priority.”
