WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (June 14, 2024) – White Plains Hospital announced today that it has been named to Fortune and global people analytics firm Great Place to Work’s 2024 list of Best Workplaces in New York™. This is the second year in a row that the Hospital has been named to the prestigious list.
White Plains Hospital became eligible for the honor following its designation as a “Great Place to Work” in 2023, a recognition it has received multiple times for exceeding national benchmarks for employee satisfaction. White Plains Hospital is one of just two hospitals in New York and one of only 24 large companies (1,000+ employees) with headquarters in New York State to be recognized.
To determine the Fortune Best Workplaces in New York List, Great Place to Work collected nearly 140,000 confidential survey responses from employees at Great Place to Work-certified companies. Hospital employees from all departments and job functions were asked to complete a survey that includes questions on leadership effectiveness, respect, fairness and employee pride in the community. White Plains Hospital scored significantly above the benchmark required to be certified as a Best Workplace. Read the full methodology.
“This achievement reflects the culture of excellence we have developed at White Plains Hospital,” said Diane Woolley, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at White Plains Hospital. “Our employees are the cornerstone of our success. We are proud of their dedication, teamwork and compassion, which allow us to deliver high-quality, award-winning care to our patients.”
“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in New York,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. “As the business landscape is disrupted — from AI, global conflict, and market pressure — companies who have built a reservoir of trust with their employees will be more resilient and, ultimately, more successful.”
