White Plains Hospital Again Honored by U.S. News & World Report as One of Region’s Best Hospitals

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (July 31, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has again been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Regional Hospital for the seventh consecutive year, earning the highest ranking among all hospitals in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.

For the first time, White Plains Hospital earned a national ranking in Geriatrics, alongside Pulmonology, which was nationally ranked again this year. In addition, the Hospital was recognized as “High Performing” in four specialties:

  • Gastroenterology & GI Surgery
  • Neurology & Neurosurgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology

As well as the following 13 procedures or conditions:

  • Colon Cancer Surgery
  • Diabetes
  • Gynecological Cancer Surgery
  • Heart Arrhythmia

The U.S. News & World Report recognition comes on the heels of the Hospital’s receiving several other recent accolades, including: an “A” Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group for the 13th consecutive time; being ranked as one of the nation’s Best Hospitals and Best Maternity Hospitals by Money; being named to the Best Workplaces in New York list by Fortune for the 3rd consecutive year; and being awarded the comprehensive heart attack center (CHAC) certification from The Joint Commission and American Heart Association.
