Rheumatologist Dr. Nuzhat Batool Joins White Plains Hospital Physician Associates

White Plains, N.Y. (November 17, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has announced that rheumatologist Dr. Nuzhat Batool has joined its White Plains Hospital Physician Associates practices in Harrison and in Larchmont.

Dr. Batool received her medical degree from Army Medical College Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She then completed a residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, followed by a fellowship in rheumatology at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine.

Dr. Batool has presented her work before a number of professional organizations, including the American College of Rheumatology, the American Thoracic Society, the Society of Hospital Medicine, the Society of General Internal Medicine, and others. Her work has also appeared in such peer-reviewed publications as Arthritis & Rheumatology, Clinical Case Reports, and CHEST Journal.

Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Batool is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.

In addition to English, Dr. Batool is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
