White Plains, N.Y. (January 23, 2024) – Board-certified rheumatologist Dr. Farrah Gutwein has joined WPHPA of Hawthorne, White Plains Hospital announced today.
Dr. Gutwein began her career as an attending physician, Assistant Director of the Rheumatology Clinic, and physician educator at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, followed by attending physician positions at Rheumatology Associates of Southern Westchester and at Phelps Medical Associates/Northwell Health Physician Partners; she also was Medical Director of the Outpatient Infusion Center at Phelps.
Having earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Gutwein completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in rheumatology, at the New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center. Her work has been published in such peer-reviewed medical journals as Anesthesiology and BJU International.
