Neurosurgeon Dr. Alexandra Kammen Joins White Plains Hospital

White Plains, N.Y. (October 6, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has announced that neurosurgeon Dr. Alexandra Kammen has joined its staff at the White Plains Hospital Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery.

Dr. Kammen earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). She then completed a residency in neurological surgery at USC and a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Her work has appeared in such peer-reviewed publications as Experimental Brain Research; Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface; Journal of Neural Engineering; and Neurosurgery Practice, and has been featured in the books Comprehensive Management of Skull Base Tumor and Neurosurgical Operative Atlas: Vascular Neurosurgery.

In addition, she has presented before such organizations as the American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery; the Congress of Neurological Surgeons; and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
