Neurologist Dr. Melba Beltre Joins White Plains Hospital Physician Associates

White Plains, N.Y. (November 3, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has announced that neurologist Dr. Melba Beltre has joined White Plains Hospital Physician Associates.

Dr. Beltre earned her medical degree from New York Medical College (NYMC) School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in neurology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, followed by a fellowship in movement disorders at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Beltre is particularly interested in working with patients experiencing Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, essential tremor, ataxia, normal pressure hydrocephalus, and who are interested in, or are, receiving botulinum toxin injections

Her work has appeared in such peer-reviewed publications as Clinical Imaging, Psycho-Oncology, and Journal of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Beltre is a native speaker of English and Spanish and can speak basic French.
