Louis D. Vizioli, MD Joins White Plains Hospital Physician Associates

Pulmonary and Internal Medicine Specialist to See Patients at 33 Davis Avenue

White Plains, N.Y. (May 22, 2017) – White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome Louis Vizioli, MD to its Physician Associates Division, adding pulmonary medicine expertise to the ambulatory physician practices aligned with White Plains Hospital. Dr. Vizioli is highly skilled in pulmonary and critical care medicine as well as primary care and internal medicine, having been in practice for more than 25 years. He has been an attending physician in the department of medicine at the Hospital since 1993 and also currently serves as a physician for the city of White Plains police and fire departments.

Dr. Vizioli earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He completed his internal medicine residency and internship at Montefiore Medical Center and pulmonary fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was also Chief Fellow, critical care medicine.

Dr. Vizioli has a long and distinguished career at White Plains Hospital where, presently, he is involved in the respiratory therapy, intensive care unit and pharmacy formulary review committees. Previously, he was Medical Chief of the Pulmonary and Intensive Care Units and Medical Director of the Respiratory Therapy department.

Dr. Vizioli is board certified in internal, pulmonary and critical care medicine. He holds professional memberships in the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and New York State and Westchester County Medical Society.
