Leigh Kwak, MD, Joins White Plains Hospital Physician Associates

White Plains, N.Y. – White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Leigh Kwak to its Physician Associates Division. Dr. Kwak is a skilled endocrinologist who will see patients in the Yorktown Heights and Larchmont locations. He specializes in thyroid abnormalities, pituitary gland disorders; diabetes; hormonal imbalance; brittle bone disease/osteoporosis and vitamin D deficiency; calcium abnormalities; obesity; and weight loss.

Dr. Kwak earned his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, and his Endocrinology Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Kwak is board certified in internal medicine.

His expertise includes serving as Instructor in Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and as a clinical investigator at John’s Hopkins University and Dartmouth. Dr. Kwak has been involved in research projects on diabetes management and Alzheimer’s disease, and is the author of several poster presentations including topics of adrenal hyperplasia, thryrotoxicosis, and diabetic ketoacidosis.
