Kayvan Roayaie, MD, PhD, Joins White Plains Hospital Department of Surgery

White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Kayvan Roayaie, who has joined the White Plains Hospital Department of Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Surgeons. A graduate in biochemistry from Rutgers University in New Jersey, he obtained a PhD in biochemistry and genetics and subsequently his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Roayaie continued his training at UCSF, completing his residency in general surgery, a fellowship in transplant surgery and advanced training in clinical research. Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery, Division of Abdominal Organ Transplantation, and Surgical Director of Pediatric Kidney Transplantation at Oregon Health & Science University.
