Jeremy S. Leventhal, MD, Joins White Plains Hospital Physician Associates

White Plains, N.Y. – White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome nephrologist Dr. Jeremy S. Leventhal to its Physician Associates Division. Dr. Leventhal will treat patients with a variety of kidney conditions and diseases at White Plains Hospital Physician Associates’ Yorktown Heights and Rye Brook locations.

Dr. Leventhal received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he received third-year clerkship honors in medicine. He went on to complete an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals, where he was recipient of the Best Bedside Manner Award. He then completed a fellowship in nephrology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he stayed on as faculty achieving the rank of assistant professor before leaving to join WPH.

Board certified in nephrology, Dr. Leventhal is involved in clinical research and is the author of many peer-reviewed studies and book chapters, on topics such as novel treatments of chronic kidney disease and glomerulonephritis. He often presents at professional conferences, and is a reviewer for many clinical journals.

Dr. Leventhal provides diagnosis and treatment of conditions and diseases of the kidney, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, proteinuria, glomerulonephritis, and kidney stones (including prevention).

He will see patients at the White Plains Hospital Physician Associates offices at 3379 Crompond Road in Yorktown Heights, and 90 South Ridge Street in Rye Brook.
