White Plains, N.Y. (July 8, 2024) – White Plains Hospital has announced that board-certified gastroenterologist and internist Dr. Melissa Magrath has joined WPHPA Surgical Specialties in White Plains.
Dr. Magrath, whose interests include esophageal motility disorders, GERD, and care of patients with gastrointestinal symptoms after bariatric surgery, received her medical degree from the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a fellowship in gastroenterology at NYU.
Prior to joining WPHPA, Dr. Magrath was a gastroenterologist at Bellevue Hospital and a clinical assistant professor at NYU Langone Health.
