Friends of White Plains Hospital to Host Black and White Ball

September 6, 2016

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (September 6, 2016) – The Friends of White Plains Hospital will hold their annual gala, a Black and White Ball to benefit White Plains Hospital, on Saturday, November 5th at the Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY. The Ball will celebrate the Hospital’s extraordinary physical transformation over the past five years and will recognize all our partners and supporters who helped make the transformation possible. Special recognition will be given to AP Construction, Gilbane Building Company, Perkins Eastman, Posen Architects, and Posen Construction Services.

In response to community feedback and needs, the Hospital created a new lobby and arrival experience, added new private patient rooms, and expanded and upgraded its labor & delivery rooms. The White Plains Hospital Center for Cancer Care was completely renovated and expanded, adding a new six story oncology physician pavilion. New surgical suites were created, including the addition of new da Vinci robots for robotic surgery and other state-of-the-art equipment.

The gala will begin at 6:30 PM and will feature cocktails, dinner and dancing, and an auction. Initial sponsors include Garfunkel, Wild, P.C. and the Medical and Dental Staff of White Plains Hospital. Tickets are $500 per person. Sponsorship and private reception tickets are also available.

Gala co-chairs are Anna Cappucci of Harrison and Geralyn Della Cava and Kathy Winterroll, both from Scarsdale.
