Dr. Numa T. Rahman Joins White Plains Hospital Center for Cancer Care

White Plains, N.Y. (May 3, 2022) – White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Numa T. Rahman to its Center for Cancer Care. Board-certified in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine, Dr. Rahman evaluates and treats patients for a variety of hematological conditions, with a special interest in breast, thoracic and gastrointestinal malignancies.

Dr. Rahman completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in The Bronx, and remained there for her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology. During her fellowship, she conducted clinical research to compare outcomes between HIV versus non-HIV infected patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.

Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Dr. Rahman worked in hematology and medical oncology at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, N.J.
