Dr. Kamyar Nabegh Joins White Plains Hospital

White Plains, N.Y. (September 15, 2025) – White Plains Hospital has announced that internal medicine provider Dr. Kamyar Nabegh has joined the WPHPA Medical Specialists practice in White Plains.

Dr. Nabegh holds a medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed a residency in family medicine at The State University of New York Upstate Medical University (SUNY Upstate) and a fellowship in sports medicine at the Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center at the University of Connecticut (UConn).

Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Dr. Nabegh was an urgent care provider and clinical quality analyst for Northwell Health/GoHealth Urgent Care. He has also provided team physician coverage for a number of collegiate athletes at UConn and Syracuse University, as well as for the WWE, the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA, the New England Black Wolves of the National Lacrosse League, and the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League. Dr. Nabegh has also provided medical tent coverage for large events such as the Boston Marathon and Ironman Lake Placid.

Dr. Nabegh’s work has appeared in the peer-reviewed publication Family Doctor-A Journal of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians, and he has presented at national and regional sports medicine conferences.
