Cardiologist Dr. Gargi Bajpayee Joins White Plains Hospital

White Plains, N.Y. (January 5, 2026) – White Plains Hospital has announced that cardiologist Dr. Gargi Bajpayee, who is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine, has joined its WPHPA of Scarsdale and Scarsdale Medical Group practices, located respectively in Scarsdale and in Harrison.

After receiving her medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, Dr. Bajpayee completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she was named chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bajpayee has served as an instructor at a number of area institutions, most recently as an assistant professor of medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where she was also an attending cardiologist. She also served as the echocardiography laboratory director at Mount Sinai-Union Square.

Her work has appeared in such peer-reviewed publications as Journal of Intensive Care Medicine and CHEST, published by the American College of Chest Physicians.

In addition to English, Dr. Bajpayee is fluent in Bengali and conversant in Hindi.
