The Hospital is one of just eight in New York to receive the highest rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The Hospital earned the highest ranking for all Westchester hospitals and is the only hospital in the county to receive this accolade for four consecutive years (2019-2022).
The Hospital is one of just 148 in the nation – as well as one of only four in New York state, and the only hospital in Westchester County – to be included.
Of the 3,173 hospitals evaluated nationally, only 399 achieved the Healthgrades award.
The award is for ensuring that stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.
Mr. Null has been a member of the White Plains Hospital Board since 2002 and most recently held the position of Vice Chairman.
