The Business Council of Westchester has selected 40 local businesspeople for its group of 2025 Rising Stars.
“These exemplary leaders have distinguished themselves through their talent, determination, leadership and commitment to the Westchester business community,” said Marsha Gordon, president and CEO of the BCW. “As we celebrate their initiative and innovation, we continue to look to our Rising Stars to ensure that Westchester County continues to be the leading business community.”
Michelle Elsener, MBA, BSN, RN-BC, CPHQ, Clinical Quality Nurse at White Plains Hospital, was one of the Rising Stars honored. Michelle leads innovative data-driven strategies at White Plains Hospital to improve patient outcomes after hospital discharge. She specializes in transitional care, remote patient monitoring, and health equity, using analytics and evidence-based practice to inform compassionate care. Michelle has been instrumental in the success of WPH Cares, a program designed to support patients after discharge, and she is currently leading an Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved study using telehealth and remote monitoring to improve diabetes care and reduce health disparities.
