The results of one such survey recently revealed that just eight hospitals in New York State stand above all others in patient satisfaction scores, according to Healthgrades, a consumer website that allows users to search for doctors and get information about them.
White Plains Hospital is among those distinguished eight, having been awarded the 2019 Outstanding Patient Experience Award for the fourth time (it received the designation in 2014, 2016, and 2018 as well) this month.

The Hospital is among just 10 percent of hospitals nationwide to be recognized for superior patient experience, based on responses to questions including how well doctors and nurses communicated with them, how well they were informed about medications, how clean or noisy the hospital was, and how likely they were to refer doctors or services to a friend.
