White Plains, N.Y. – White Plains Hospital has announced that endocrinologist Dr. Eric Rudin has joined Scarsdale Medical Group, located at 600 Mamaroneck Avenue in Harrison.
Dr. Rudin has been practicing locally in Katonah for the past 20 years, building longstanding relationships with patients throughout the community. He brings extensive experience in the full spectrum of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, obesity, thyroid disease and thyroid cancer, osteoporosis, calcium disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pituitary disease and adrenal disorders. He has particular expertise in thyroid sonography and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy, as well as in the use of advanced diabetes technologies such as continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy.
Dr. Rudin received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and a fellowship in endocrinology at Montefiore Medical Center. He holds board certifications in internal medicine and endocrinology and maintains certification in endocrine neck ultrasound.
He has been repeatedly recognized as a “Top Doctor” by New York Magazine, Westchester Magazine and Top Doctors: New York Metro Area. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals including Diabetes and Immunity and Ageing, and he has delivered numerous lectures on topics such as osteoporosis and advances in the management of type 2 diabetes.
